Press Conference of the Phygital Sustainability Expo® 2023 at MIMIT in Rome

The press conference of Phygital Sustainability Expo® was held at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, in the presence of Minister Urso.

 

The 4th edition of the Phygital Sustainability Expo® is near. The only international event exclusively dedicated to the sustainable transition of the fashion and design industry in Italy through technological innovation, will take place on July 5 and 6, 2023 at the spectacular archaeological complex of the Museum of the Imperial Forum 113 AD, in Rome.

We would like to thank the Councillor Alessandro Onorato for Big Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion of Rome Capitol City, for his great commitment to the development of fashion in Rome by supporting the Phygital Sustainability Expo®, an event that promotes tourism, internationalization and culture; also thanks to the foresight of using unprecedented locations that promote the Capital.

The Phygital Sustainability Expo® is an event in support of the Expo Rome 2030 candidacy. 

 

On  Monday, 19.6.2023, the press conference of Phygital Sustainability Expo® was held at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso.

 

Sustainable Fashion Innovation Society would like to thank the main partners: European Parliament, Italian Trade Agency and the Department for Big Events, Sports, Tourism & Fashion of Rome Capitol City. 
 
The European Parliament is at the forefront of efforts through activities to promote sustainable growth in compliance with the SDG’s and to combat climate change. The Phygital Sustainability Expo® is in fact a strategic opportunity to foster a constructive discussion between European parliamentarians who follow instances related to sustainability and stakeholders in the sector.
 
Italian Trade Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation created for the Phygital Sustainability Expo® an incoming of international buyers exclusively targeting sustainable fashion, coming from 18 nations and 4 different continents. 
 
The Phygital Sustainability Expo® is also in collaboration with FAO for World Food Day 2023. Communicated in over 50 languages and in over 150 countries, World Food Day is FAO’s most important global campaign as well as one of the most popular International Days in the UN calendar. 
 
The event is in partnership with Poste Italiane, CNH Industrial, Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B and Enel X. 
Our Academic Partner is Sapienza University of Rome. Given the high educational level of the Phygital Sustainability Expo® format, students in the Bachelor of Science in “Fashion Science” from the Faculty of Humanities will receive 2 course credits by attending the panels of the two-days of Phygital Sustainability Expo®. 
We thank Frecciarossa for the support, Official Train of Phygital Sustainability EXPO®️, being the first high-speed train in the world to be awarded the Environmental Impact Certification (EPD).
 
The Phygital Sustainability Expo® reaches more than 30 million contacts worldwide also thanks to the valuable contribution of our main media partners Rai News 24, Urban Vision and Today.it 
 
The event is a key driver for attracting international sustainable tourism in Rome and Lazio Region, and was presented on the stage of the Lazio Region at BIT in Milan (International Tourism Exchange) as the flagship event 2023, together with the Ryder Cup. Very relevant are the collaborations with our hotel partners: Six Senses Rome, Parco dei Principi and Omnia Hotels.
