The Minister on Phygital

Adolfo Urso

The Minister on Phygital

Today sustainability is a decisive factor in strengthening Made in Italy and building a solid, competitive and lasting growth model, also thanks to technological innovation. The Phygital Sustainability Expo is concrete proof of this: a showcase of the fashion industry's ability to interpret change with competence, creativity and industrial vision. In 2025, despite tariffs, trade tensions and conflicts, Made in Italy kept growing, with exports up 7.2% to the United States and 3.3% globally. This model must now evolve towards «beautiful, good, well made and sustainable», an integrated approach that unites productive excellence, environmental protection and social value.
