2025Sixth edition

Phygital Sustainability Expo® 2025

Two days at the Museum of the Imperial Forum, on World Environment Day: the culture of sustainability, institutions and Made in Italy in the heart of Rome.

5 and 6 June 2025·Museum of the Imperial Forum, Rome

The European States General on the culture of sustainability

On 5 and 6 June 2025 Trajan's Markets host the sixth edition, from 10am to 9pm, with free entry. Two days of conferences, institutional lectures, awards and the museum route through the Sustainable Development Goals, in front of ministers, European institutions, businesses and the public.

Designed and produced by Valeria Mangani.

How the Phygital Sustainability Expo works

The European States General on the culture of sustainability

An international stage where companies do not simply talk about sustainability: they premiere it. An event with an institutional soul and an educational heart, in an archaeological site that is itself a symbol of circularity across millennia.

An open air museum of sustainable excellence

The journey starts by crossing the gates of millennial history: a sensorial route, visual and tactile, where the public discovers pioneering projects in recycling, luxury upcycling and technological innovation across every sector.

A parallel experience in augmented and extended reality

Along the imperial road technology switches on: with Lenovo ThinkReality A3 headsets visitors experience in AR and XR the effects of our lifestyle on the planet, starting with compulsive shopping.

An ecosystem of positive contamination

Described by Harper's Bazaar back in 2021 as the first international event where technology meets science and innovation in fashion, the Expo puts institutions, Italian SMEs, multinationals, fashion-tech startups, buyers, creatives and consumers in the same conversation.

Sustainable Made in Italy Award 2025

The Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso presents the award to the business leaders strengthening the Italian production system. From the stage, a request to the government

One precise proposal came out of the two days: an Extraordinary Commissioner for Sustainability to coordinate policies and funding, simplify access to European resources and ensure effective cross-sector action.

The picture changed quickly: today seven Italian companies out of ten have invested in sustainability, against 45% in 2022.

It is essential to pay close attention to productive realities, preserving the value of Made in Italy while ensuring care for the environment.

Valeria Mangani, President of the Sustainable Fashion Innovation Society
